Foundation Court Condemns Avni Zogiane for Slandering Ferat Shala

Former Kosovo Parliament President Ferat Shala has indicated that the Constitutional Court in Pristina has partially confirmed its application to Avni Zogiani, concerning a publication on the social Facebook network.

Ex-Deputet Shala through his lawyer, Labinot Vata, had filed charges against Zogiani for slandering what the Constitutional Court has sentenced Vetevendosje official to over 2 thousand euros.

In the act the newspaper has secured “The new age”, Zogiani is obliged to pay the sentence within 15 days and wipe out the post in “Facebook” he wrote against Shala.


“APROVIED partly based on the request of plaintiff Ferat Shala from Pristina, which owes indictee Avni Zogiani from Pristina, on behalf of non- material damage due to slander through publication on his social network ʹFacebook, with the description: This photo shows the only monopoly on one part of Ferat Shala's family in the public sector! Yesterday Ferat Shala brought the Law for the Sovereign Fund to the Constitutional Court with the claim that this law creates monopolies!


To this act, Zogiani has the right to complain in the competent court.
