FIFA will pay 4 thousand euros a day for every player participating in the 2026 World

FIFA has decided to reward clubs allowing their footballers to participate in the 2026 World Cup, making a record fund of about $35m available.
Within the program “FIFA Benefits”, each club will benefit at least $5 thousand a day for each player collected by its national tour.
In addition to this basic amount, additional bonuses are predicted that will be calculated based on match-fixing and minutes played by football players.
According to FIFA, the final amount each club will benefit will be determined only after the competition is completed, when all of the players' participation data is estimated.
Fund dedicated to clubs has increased significantly compared to World Cup FIFA 2022 in Qatar.
The increase amounts to about 70 percent, reflecting FIFA's commitment to offset clubs contributing to national activities.
Almost a third of the total funds have been earmarked for the period of qualifying matches.
