Earthquake in Venezuela, U.S. Geological Service: We may have as many as 10,000 casualties

The U.S. Geological service (USGS) has used predictive models to assess the number of victims from two powerful earthquakes that hit Venezuela overnight.
According to USGS, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck about 160 km west of Caracas, while less than a minute later another quake of 7.5 magnitude was recorded, reports SkyNewsKlankosova broadcast.tv.
Forecast models show that the death toll is likely to reach thousands, while there is a significant probability that the final balance of victims exceeds 10,000 people.
Venezuela's acting president, Delcy Rodriguez, said the initial data shows at least 32 people dead and 700 injured, but these figures do not include victims from the state of La Guaira.
