American Army Kills ISIS Senior Leader in Syria Air Attack

The US Army carried out an air strike in northwest Syria last week that killed a senior ISIS leader, the US Central Command said in a statement posted on the X social media platform Wednesday.
CENTCOM said that the exact attack took place on June 19th and killed Ali Husayn al-Ulaywi, adding that it was “part of the US's continued efforts to break down and eliminate terrorists seeking to attack US Americans abroad or US homeland” and that its forces would continue to work with regional partners.
“CENTCOM and our partners remain committed to the disappearance of the remaining remains of I SIS to ensure his permanent loss. We will continue to protect the American homeland, our service members and our allies and partners throughout the region”, said Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of CENTCOM.
I The SIS has announced a new phase of operations in Syria against President Ahmed al-Sahara's government, conducting a series of attacks since February. Last year, al-Sahara government joined the US-led coalition fighting I SIS.
On Saturday, the militant group claimed responsibility for an attack near the town of Manbij in the northeastern province of Alepos in Syria.
The ISIS controlled about a quarter or more of Syria at its peak during the Syrian civil war a decade ago, before being expelled from territory by the US-led coalition and other enemies, Reuters reported, broadcast Periscopi.
