The Central Election Commission has shown the latest data from the number of ballots in diplomatic representations and from the continuation of the process of assessment of the alleged package by balloting from the post office voting outside Kosovo, which have yet to be counted.

CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has shown that at the Centre for Counting and Results is continuing the process of counting ballots belonging to the vote outside Kosovo, respectively, on 30 diplomatic representation, which began on the afternoon of June 11th.
According to him, the “by now (on Friday, June 12, 2026, 09:00) has been counted 13 of the 47 diplomatic countries. On June 6, 2026, the vote was held in 30 diplomatic representations in 18 different states. Out of 27,724 registered citizens have voted 22,860 or 82.46%. These ballot papers are currently in progress.
Meanwhile, for the next process, since the afternoon of June 9th, Elesi has indicated that it is continuing to assess the alleged package of ballots from voting outside Kosovo, respectively, by voting via mail that have so far been brought to Kosovo.
Until Thursday's (June 11th 2026) end in the assessment process, about 42 thousand were included, out of which 40,414 have been served, meanwhile, turned down 1,447. The most obvious reason why these packages were rejected is because, in 1,320 cases, a document with unique data is missing, which the registered voter accepts by the CEC”, Elesi said.
According to the CEC, this process started on June 9, 2026, at 4: 00 p.m. and aims to verify whether these packages were sent to registered voters. At the end of this evaluation process, the CEC will publish the data for the minute package with supposed ballotings, which will be counted at the Counting and Results Centre.
Similarly, the CEC has indicated that during Monday's day, on June 8th, the process of withdrawing parcels with balloting belonging to the vote outside Kosovo, respectively, through mail. The withdrawal of the ballot package was made from CEC mailboxes in 22 different states, as well as from the CEC mailbox in Kosovo. From 23 mailboxes, more than 85700 suspected ballot packages have been withdrawn.
During the census period (6 May 17th, 2026), the number of citizens registered to vote via mail in early elections for the Kosovo Assembly is 104,480 voters.
