Ceku's ministry financed federations at 1.7m euros, without any public calls

The annual report by the National Auditing Office has found that over 1.7m euros have been allocated in five cases for organising additional sports events from the European Championships to volleyball, handball, basketball, esports and table tennis.

This had happened as a result of failure to operate control mechanisms in monitoring and implementation of the criteria defined in the regulation in force, the report says, Clankosova.tv, broadcast Periscopi.

ZKA has stressed that the public call bypass affects lower transparency and efficiency in the use of public funds to finance additional activities of sports organisations.
