CEC shows when final election results are expected

Central Election Commission spokesman Valmir Elezi has indicated that the institution is waiting to complete the investigation of complaints before proceeding with the announcement of the final election results.
Elez said the CEC will assess whether decisions on complaints contain concrete obligations that must be implemented by this institution.
“The CEC is awaiting completion of the complaints and decision-making of relevant institutions. It remains to be seen whether they contain concrete obligations for the CEC to implement and then proceed with the act of announcing final results”.
According to him, if the decisions do not contain such demands, the CEC is ready to announce its final results immediately after their full might.
If these decisions hold something like this, then after they become all powerful, the CEC is immediately ready to declare final results”.
He stressed that announcing final results does not even mean completing the election process, as political subjects and the parties involved have the right to file complaints to these results as well.
“The announcement of final results does not complete the election process, as parties have a right to those results. The CEC, as it is now, should wait for the terms of complaints and decision-making of relevant institutions to implement their decisions if they contain obligations and then proceed with the certificateing of results”.
