US: 3-year-old loses her life in lice, parents allowed infection to turn into anemia

A young three - year - old girl lost her life in her family's home in a poor area of the state of New York, since her body was severely infected by lice to the extent that she developed anemia, it was said in court.

Her parents, Matthew and Samantha Dulawski, pleaded guilty to murder by criminal neglect in connection with the death of their youngest daughter, and this month were sentenced to the maximum sentence, up to four years in prison.
According to reports, Joycelyn was so deeply affected by lice that he had developed anemia - a condition that damaged his heart and other vital organs.
The doctor also found that there were traces of clonedine (Clonidine) in her organism, a medicine usually used for treating high blood pressure.
At the time of Joycelyn's death, Samantha, 33, suggested that her daughter and siblings were responsible for what happened.
According to investigators, the mother claimed that Joycelyn “opposed a lot of” when she tried to apply the treatment for lice to her skin, hinting that the blame was being attributed to her already felt daughter.
