Summit NATO in Turkey, the Defence Ministry confirms: We were not invited.

The defence ministry has clarified that Kosovo has not received an invitation for participation in the NATO Summit, as it is not a member of the Alliance and therefore does not participate in summits in the quality of the member.
The clarification comes after media reports that Kosovo has not been invited to the upcoming NATO summit.
The defence ministry has stressed that even in previous cases Kosovo has not had an official invitation for participation in the NATO Summit.
With your interest in reporting that Kosovo has not received an invitation for participation in the NATO Summit, we inform you that the Republic of Kosovo is not a NATO member and not a part of the Partnership for Peace Programme. For this reason, it does not participate in NATO Samites as a participating state”, the Ministry of Defence for Online Economy says.
According to the ministry even in the past, Kosovo has not participated in the NATO Summit as a participating state, but that invitations have been for specific activities organised in the summit margins.
