(12 hours ago)The Central Election Commission has announced that it is continuing activities in the Municipal Counting Centre (QKN) and the Counting and Results Centre for early elections for the Kosovo Assembly, which are held on 7 June 2026.
By 4: 00 p.m., the process of verification and counting has been completed in 37 Municipal Counting Centres, meanwhile, the total number of processable deployments, which belong to all the QKN (38), is 2,425 out of 2,498 seats or 97.07%.
The counting and verification process has not yet been completed in the QKN of the Pristina municipality (189/262). The number of locations left by this municipality is 73.
The Municipal Counting Centers that have completed these activities are:
Monday, June 8, until 24: 1. Yunik (066); 2. Shrpca (17/17); 3. Hani of Elez (11/11); 4. Partesh (077); and 5. Mamusa (5/5).
Tuesday, June 9th, until 4:00: 6. Zubin Potok (15/15); 7. Zvecan (11/11); 8. Kllokot (8/8); and 9. Novoberda (23/23); 10. Obilic (34/34); 11. Zoom (33/33); 12. Ranilleg (10/10); and 13. Mitrovica Verou (21/21).

The CEC has also announced activity at the counting centre and results, where it has indicated that the process of counting ballots belonging to the vote outside Kosovo is continuing, respectively, on 30 diplomatic representations, which began on the 11 June afternoon.
So far (Friday 12 June 2026, 500) has been counted 23 of the 47 diplomatic representation countries.
On June 6, 2026, the vote was held in 30 diplomatic representations in 18 different states. Out of 27,724 registered citizens have voted 22,860 or 82.46%. These ballot papers are in progress.
And so, The CEC has also indicated that the assessment of alleged package ballots by mail vote is continuing
During Friday, the QNR has continued the process of weighing the supposed package with ballots from outside Kosovo, respectively, from voting through mail that have so far been brought to Kosovo.
By Thursday's (June 11th 2026) end in the evaluation process, about 42 thousand, of which 40,414 have been served, have already been rejected 1,447. The most obvious reason why these packages were rejected is because, in 1,320 cases, the census report card is missing, a document with unique data, which the registered voter accepts by the CEC.
