Under the Central Election Commission rules, any footnote or intervention in the ballot that is not related to the candidates' vote makes it automatically invalid.

Election authorities stress that such cases are handled as violations of voting procedures and do not affect the number of votes.

The election process is continuing throughout the country, while no other serious incidents have been reported so far.
