sold for 350m euros a holiday villa “Bunga”

Qatar's former prime minister and former foreign minister, Hamad bin Jasim, has bought a villa in Sardinje, formerly belonging to former Italy's Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
According to Italian newspaper La Repubblica reports, the property has been sold for 350m euros, writes resources.
Willa “Certosa”, known as Berlusconi's informal summer residence, has been the focus of attention due to the organisation of so-called “bunga”, which have caused major political and judicial scandals in Italy.
Berlusconi had faced charges of prostitution with minors, while was later acquitted of corruption and abuse of office.
The property buyer is registered in Luxembourg, but Italian media link him to the Al Thani family, which rules Qatar for more than a century and a half.
The sale of the villa is expected to help improve the financial situation of Berlusconi's heirs, who since 2023 are trying to fulfill the obligations set out in his will.
According to La Repubblica, among the largest payments are about 100m euros for the former Berlusconi partner and his brother Paolo Berlusconi. /Periscope
