France Confirms First Case With Ebola

France has confirmed the first case of Ebola a doctor who had returned from a humanitarian mission to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The doctor was immediately admitted to a specialised” facility and is in stable condition, the French health ministry said Wednesday.
The Democratic Republic of Congo announced an Ebola explosion last month, but experts believe the virus had circulated for weeks earlier.
More than 260 people have been confirmed to have died of the virus in the Central African country, while 1,000 have been infected.
This is the first confirmed case with Ebola in Europe, although an American doctor who proved positive in the Democratic Republic of Congo was treated at a German hospital last month.
Congo's RD neighbour, Uganda, has also confirmed Ebola's cases. The World Health Organization (OBSH) says 20 people are known to have been infected there and two deaths have been confirmed. /Periscope
