(an hour ago)Dimal Basha, acting minister of Infrastructure, has come up with a reaction to the fatal accident on the <x0-based Rugova” highway, where a woman had died on June 14th.
Basha says the official Kosovo Police report shows “that based on professional investigations, the driver of the vehicle has lost control over the car, first hitting road signaling and then the side protection elements”
On the other hand, Basha says that “in contrast to false reporting and the hasty accusations of some politicians and media, the report finds that both circulation tape has been free for movement and that the road situation has not affected the cause of the accident. These are official findings of competent body”.

The June 14th tragic incident on the “Dr Autoway. Ibrahim Rugova”, where a citizen lost his life, touched us all deeply. Once again, she expresses her deepest condolences for her family and relatives.
Unfortunately, prior to the completion of official investigations, circles with the tendency to take advantage of any case to issue charges against the Government were forced to present this tragedy as a result of landslides and as a result of the inaction of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
Today, the official Kosovo Police Report shows that on the basis of professional investigations, the driver of the vehicle has lost control over the car, first hitting road signaling and then the side protection elements.
In contrast to false reporting and the hasty accusations of some politicians and media, the report found that both circulation tape has been free for movement and that the road situation has not affected the accident. These are official findings of competent organs.
This does not diminish the pain of lost life, but it is important that the truth be known and reported. Official facts have already dropped false claims and the accusations of those who tried to profit politically from that human disaster.
Let this be the lesson for all that such tragedies should not be used for political propaganda or media benefits.
