ATK: For 5 months we have collected over half a billion euros in taxes

Kosovo's Tax Administration has indicated that in five months over half a billion euros of taxes have been collected, naming this a positive trend.

“For January period May 2026 have collected over half a billion euros of taxes, 517.4m euros” respectively, it said in the communique.

ATK points out that compared to the same period last year, tax revenues mark an increase of 57m euros, or 12.4% more.

The growth of tax revenues is the result of operational activities, increased e-tax services, use of mechanisms supporting fighting the informal economy, and raising accountability within tax authority”, the announcement concludes.
