Ardian Gjini meets Gjakova veterans: Freedom sacrifice, now work on Kosovo development

The Alliance's candidate for prime minister, Ardian Gjini, has held a meeting with the Gjakova municipality veterans today, naming it a moment of honour and pride with people who, according to him, “gave all of Kosovo's freedom”.

In co-operation with veterans, Djindin praised the sacrifice of generations for freedom and stressed that Kosovo is already in a new stage, where the main challenge remains economic development and strengthening of the state.

Our Kosovo has given blood and tears for centuries. We have given blood and shed tears for generations. Now, to live our common dream of a strong and developed Kosovo, we have only sweat left, and beat”, Djind has declared.

He has stressed that the road to citizens' welfare runs through sustainable economic development, job creation and private sector support, adding that only a strong economy can ensure dignified increases in pensions, security and the standard of living for Kosovo citizens.

The meeting with Gjakova veterans also focused on the need for unity and common commitment for building a more developed and secure state.
