Tomorrow at 11:00 the lot for ranking political subjects in the ballot

According to the announcement, the draw will be held on May 16, 2026, at 11:00.

On the 13th. The CEC has certified 4 of the 5 new political subjects for early elections for the Kosovo Assembly, which have applied for certificate of voter turnout during May 2nd, May 10th, 2026.

After meeting the criteria set out in the Law for General Elections and the CEC's underground acts, the certified subjects (3 coalitions and 1 independent candidate) are:

1. Coalition named Movement V ENVENTION!, which consists of four registered political parties: Movement V ENVENTION!, Guxo, Alternate and Albanian Democratic Party;
2. The coalition named Koalcija Vacat, which consists of two registered political parties: Democraticska Stranka Boska and Democraticska Stranka Vatan;
3. Coalicon With the Name A UNITED CARDS, which consists of three registered political parties: The Ashkailini Party for Integration, the Democratic Party of Ashkalis of Kosovo and the Movement for Co-operation; and
4. Independent candidate Esmir Cassi.

Similarly, the CEC has accepted candidate lists for deputies from 23 political subjects, of which 18 political parties, 3 coalitions, 1 civic initiative and 1 independent candidate.

“Four political parties, which have earlier announced participation in the elections, have not handed over the list with the names of candidates for deputies”, the CEC has announced.

Meanwhile, the total number of candidates representing these 23 political subjects is 917, out of whom 603 men and 314 women.
