Nearly two thousand dead in Venezuela. People Still Under Ruin

The number of victims from the two earthquakes that hit Venezuela last Wednesday has increased to 10,000 and 943, National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez has announced.
He added that the injured have almost doubled and reached 10,000 and 571 people, while rescue teams are continuing their search to survive under the rubble.
The death toll is continuing to rise, as on Monday it was 1,000 and 719, writes Index,Transmission Klancosova.
The first quake of 7.2 magnitude struck about 200 miles [about 200 km] west of Caracas at 18:04 local time, while a later second quake with a magnitude of 7.5 miles [45 km], followed by some posthumously, was recorded.
According to United States Geological Service data (USGS), the second earthquake was the most powerful in more than 100 years.
