Prizren citizen gets 155 euros and hands them over to police, money goes back to the owner

A gesture of civic integrity has been marked in Prizren, where a citizen has handed over to the police a sum of money he had found at a local town.
According to the announcement, on May 14, 2026, around 8:00, citizen Murat Buzhala was presented at the Police Station in Prizren, who delivered 155 euros he had found earlier.
Police have announced that statements were received from the citizen and financial means were accepted, while a little later at the police station were presented to the E.A. initials, which reported losing money at the same location.
Following the verification procedures, police have returned the amount to the legal owner and compiled the accompanying reports on the case.
Kosovo police have praised Murat Buzhala's move, stressing that his honesty and responsibility set a positive example for the community and other citizens.
