(a month ago)Kosovo police have arrested two people in the Pec region, as weapons and ammunition have been found during the raids.
According to Kosovo Police's announcement, the first case occurred on May 19th 2026, around 18:50, on the “Conference of Bujan” in Pec. Police patrols, during patrols, have detained a suspected person and, during the search in his arm bag, found a pistol, a clip and 17 rounds of calibre 98319 mm, which have been seized.
The second case was recorded that day, about 22:50, in the village of Banay in Istog. Police patrol had stopped a vehicle and a pistol with a clip, seven rounds and an OC spray was found during the search in the trunk. The vehicles are seized by the police.
Suspects in both cases have been arrested and interviewed, while following consultation with the State Prosecutor have been released in regular procedure.
Police have announced that two pistols, two rounds, 24 rounds and an OC spray have been seized in total.
