Lithuania closes airport, warns of 'air danger'

Lithuania on Wednesday issued a warning to “air risk”, urging people to take refuge and suspend traffic at the capital airport due to fears of violating the country's airspace, Reuters reported, broadcast Periscopi.
“Right away take refuge in a safe place, look after your relatives, expect new recommendations”, the Lithuanian military said in a message sent to the country's capital.
It was not immediately clear how widely the statement spread.
A warning was also issued at the Vilnius Parliament building.
Because of the danger of the air strike, we urge all people in the building to go to the nearest shelter of”, an announcement said in parliament's interphony. Lithuania's National Crisis Management Centre said earlier it had issued an alarm in response to a fears in neighbouring Belarus that was seen flying towards Lithuania, adding that the Dron's origin had not been confirmed.
A NATO fighter plane on Tuesday dropped a suspected Ukrainian threat to Estonia, the Baltic country said, the latest in a series of air space violations in the region amid frequent Ukrainian attacks on neighbouring Russia. /Periscope
