KFOR soldiers train for air transport of equipment to Kosovo

Soldiers of the Regional East Command (RC-E), within the NATO-led mission in Kosovo KFOR, have conducted air transport exercises along with members of the Danish Armed Forces at Camp “Noovo Selo”.
According to KFOR's announcement, the exercises were aimed at advancing skills for safe transport of equipment and supporting operations in the region.
Regional East Command soldiers held training for sling-load along with Danish Armed Forces personnel at the Novo Selo Camp to improve their ability to safely transport equipment and support operations in the region”, the report said.
KFOR has stressed that these activities boost co-operation among multinational forces and improve the safe transport of equipment and supplies under difficult conditions.
“These activities improve interoperability among multinational forces and strengthen KFOR's operational capacity, reflecting the continued commitment to ensuring a safe environment for all people living in Kosovo”, the announcement says.
In the end, KFOR has recalled that it continues to implement its mandate under UN Security Council Resolution 1244, in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the EU's mission for Windim of Law in Kosovo, EULEX.
