Haradinaj: Expensive flooding is damaging businesses, without conditions there is no production and export

At the opening of the “Greek House” factory, AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj has praised the success history of the Rexhepaj and Mehmetaj families, who after years of exile in Switzerland have returned to invest in Kosovo, building a modern company that exports 100% to European markets.
Haradinaj has stressed that this is a clear example of how work and vision can make Kosovo competitive in Europe, ranging from a small rented space to a factory with advanced production capacities.
However, he has warned that local businesses are facing a heavy burden due to the high price of electricity, which is significantly making competition with neighbouring countries and expanding production capacities difficult. According to him, more production, exports and jobs cannot be required without creating favourable conditions for investors.
He has added that in the future governance, construction of the new thermal power plant and implementation of the US pipeline will guarantee stable energy and at lower prices for businesses in Kosovo.
