Hamza presents PDK programme: 50 per cent salary and pension increases, 30m euros per year in scholarships for students

The president and prime ministerial candidate of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Bedri Hamza, during the opening of the PDK campaign in Ferizaj, has presented the main points of his governing programme.
Hamza promised 50% increase in public sector and pensions wages, saying the government led by him would be a government of labour, development and dignity for citizens.
We'll cut prices. We're gonna take it off. VV for essential products. Citizens should have more money in their pocket, no more burdens on their backs. We will increase wages and pensions. 50% public sector growth. 50% increase in pensions and social aid. No social assistance under 250 euros, because no one in Kosovo should live without dignity. We'll support business. Less pay tax. Grants up 30% for investments. Support for local producers. Support for entrepreneurs. Because the economy doesn't build with propaganda. The economy is built creating jobs”, he stressed.
Hamza has also pledged investments in energy, infrastructure and technology, reforms in health, education and justice.
“30m euros annually for scholarships. Professional education related to the labour market. Digitalization of education. Multifunctional youth center. Because our youth is not the problem of managing. Youth is Kosovo's greatest potential. And yes, we will strengthen justice. Fastest justice. Fair justice. Full law enforcement for everyone. Because citizens need a functioning state, not a state that reasons”, he added. /Periscope
