Peter Shala refuses Belgium to serve prison

The member of Peter Shala's defence team in The Hague, Dzeneta Petraviqa, has stated that her client has expressed disappointment with the treatment that, according to her, has been done by Belgium during the trial process in Kosovo's Specialised Chambers.

She declared the “show Info Magazine” in Klan Kosova, that Shala has expressed disappointment with the way she handles procedures and has stressed that she would not want to serve the sentence in Belgium, Periscopi broadcasts.

This issue is under consideration in Kosovo's Specialised Chambers and fully confidential, so we can't say much about it. What we can share with the public is that Mr. Shala is extremely disappointed with Belgium's treatment during the process in Kosovo's Specialised Chambers, and for this reason, he would not want to suffer any sentence in Belgium, especially given that conditions in Belgium's prisons are bad both at national and international level”, it is said in her response.
