Hamas ' Chief Commander Killed

Palestinian group Hamas' military arm commander, Iz al-Din al-hadad, was killed during an Israeli attack Friday evening, according to local sources.
The attack also killed his wife and daughter, increased sources, noting that their funerals were held in Gaza City, reports AA, broadcast Periscope.
Speaking to reporters, al-hadad's sister also confirmed his death.
Meanwhile, Hamas also confirmed al-hadad's death Saturday. The group's spokesman, Hazem Qasssem, said in a recorded statement that the movement laments"one of the biggest fighters of the Palestinian people, General Commander of the Iz-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Izz al-Din al-Hadad ( Abu Suhaib, after a long journey of war and confrontation against occupation".

Al-hadad"joins leaders and martyred symbols of the Palestinian contemporary revolution", he added, stressing that the"Ruth of the movement will continue despite this great loss, driven by the hope for victory".
Earlier, the Israeli Army claimed it killed Iz al-Din al-hadad in an attack on Gaza City.
Development came as the Israeli Army continues its daily ceasefire violations at the Gaza Strip, which took effect in October 2025.
The truce came after Tel Aviv's two-year war, where more than 72,000 people were killed and injured more than 172,000 others. /Periscope/
