During an anti-corruption operation in Iraq, MP Hind Al-Abbasti's house reportedly seized $57m in cash, 27kg of pure and internal gold covered in gold. A surprising claim has emerged as part of the Corruption Investigation in Iraq. According to the claim, $57m in cash and 27kg of pure gold were seized during a raid on MP Hind Al-Abbbasi's home.
It was also reported that gold underwear were found in the operation.
As part of the investigation, 47 suspects, including MPs and bureaucratics, were reportedly arrested. The operation was described as part of a broader investigation into misuse of public funds and allegations of corruption.
Even though MP Hind Al-Abbbasi appears on the official website of the Iraqi parliament, detailed statements by official institutions concerning alleged control and sequential materials have not yet been confirmed.

The recent incident in Iraq is part of a broad anti-corruption operation launched by the government of Prime Minister Ali al-Zayid. The operations targeted MPs, high bureaucratics and public officials. Security forces carried out dawn raids at numerous locations, mainly in Baghdad.
At least seven MPs and a number of senior public officials were among the 47 detained. Millions of dollars in cash, gold, weapons and ammunition were seized in corruption investigations.
In an operation announced by the Iraqi High Judicial Council, about $10m in cash, 3 billion Iraqi dinars, gold jewelry, multiple long-torn weapons and about 40 properties were seized in an investigation related to the former deputy oil minister.
Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi said there would be no compromise in the fight against corruption, hinting that operations could be expanded to include new individuals.
