She has suggested that until this decision has come with the intention of protecting journalistic money.

In her Facebook account, she wrote that her resignation is not possible.

After a decade of work, today I have been forced to leave RTK, resigning irrevocable. I have made this decision in order to protect the fundamental principles upon which the practice of journalism is based. It results from the inability to exercise my profession in accordance with my professional beliefs, ethical standards and responsibility I feel toward the public. Throughout my career I have believed that journalism should rely on fact verification, professional independence and public interest. These principles have guided me in all my decisions and remain the reason why I chose this profession, but even though I am making this decision today”, she has written, adding that she has maintained her integrity by doing so.

My resignation is a personal and professional act, undertaken to maintain my integrity and to comply with my professional conscience. I thank the colleagues with whom I have worked for years, as well as all the citizens who trusted me. My confidence in responsible, independent, fact-based journalism remains steadfast. I believe that free, professional and independent journalism is the foundation of a democratic society and a value worth standing for with dignity”, she wrote.
