Dubala is renewing with Rome, accepts 5m euros' wages less

Paulo Dabbala's adventure in Rome is expected to continue, despite the actual contract by silverinian assailants expires on June 30th.

Recently, it was talked about a possible return of 32-year-olds to Argentina, where Boca Juniors was seen as the most likely destination, but such a move is not expected to be realised.

According to Italian media, Dubala has decided to stay in the Italian capital and has accepted a significant salary cut to continue co-operation with Rome, reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.

Currently, Argentina is the most paid team player with about 8m euros in the season, but the new contract is expected to be two years old and paid about 3m euros in the season.

Dabbala's decision relates mainly to family reasons, since he feels very good in Rome and does not want to return to Argentina at this stage of his career.

Meanwhile, coach Gian Piero Gasperini is working to preserve the core of the team and has also called for the renovation of Captain Lorenzo Pellegrin's contract. /Periscope/
