US President Donald Trump says a delegation is being sent to Pakistan for talks with Iran. The team includes JD Vance, Steve Whitoff and Jared Kouchner, the BBC reported.
Iran has yet to confirm whether it will participate in a new round of talks, although Pakistan is already preparing to organise this event.
Trump has also renewed his threats to destroy Iranian infrastructure if the talks are not successful, saying that “will no longer have Mr. Nice”.
The Strait of Hormuz remains on hold after several ships were attacked by Iran yesterday.
