Pacolli: Tirana court lifts restrictions on VIA, aim to open airport as soon as possible

Former Kosovo President Behgjet Pacolli has announced that the Court of First Scale of General Jurisdiction in Tirana has decided to lift restrictive measures related to society management V IA, naming them contrary to the law.
According to Pacolli, the decision replaces the security measure of June 5, 2026 and restores the right of the majority partner, MABCO, to manage society, in line with the Supreme Court's previous reasoning.
He claims the measures previously imposed have been illegal and have hampered the development of the project, causing considerable damage, including blocking airport access and cutting off works by subcontinators. Pacolli made it known that Judge Miranda Nakaj has been brought to the SPAK, claiming her decisions conflict with the Supreme Court's ruling. In his reaction, he called on the ministry, the State and Police Lawyers to implement court decisions, ensure the access of MABCO to the site and enable the project to be completed as soon as possible, with the aim of opening the airport.
