The movement of ships through the Strait of Hormuz continues to be paralyzed Sunday.
Two tankers carrying liquid oil gas that were leaving the Persian Gulf have suddenly returned, according to ship tracking data.
The two ships, identified by MarineTraff as Meda and G Summer, were the only active transponsions crossing the waterway on Sunday, CNN reports.
Both ships were previously sanctioned by the United States as they sailed with different names for the transport of Iranian LPG.
No other ship passed in any direction was shown, following Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard announcement Saturday that Ngushtica was again closed to traffic.
