There is reportedly a ceasefire in force between the US and Iran, but it will expire on 22 April, without any clear yet defined extension. According to Caine, the efforts of Operation Epic Fury, the American name for the fight against Iran, set the conditions for this truce.
The US, and especially US President Donald Trump, have often issued threats against Iran during all the fighting.
Otherwise, Hegseth has sent a strong warning to Iran, saying “we're looking at”.
He added that Iran's army should choose “wisely”, before reminding Tehran that our “capabilities are not the same”.
