Through a public reaction, Osman stressed that this decision represents an important step towards empowering Kosovo's international position and placing it alongside key global allies.

Kosovo's “Assembly today sealed a historic moment by ratifying the agreement for Kosovo's membership on the Peace Board. It is a major step that strengthens our international subjectivity and puts the Republic of Kosovo where it deserves it: side by side with America and among the states contributing to global peace”, Osmani wrote.

She also recalled the role of the United States during the war in Kosovo, stressing their crucial support.

There were American Tomahawks who, in 1999, split the darkness and stopped the Serbian genocide machine over our people. It was America that stood on the side of justice when we needed hope and salvation more than ever. And it's America again today, what stands beside us. ”

In the end, Osman expressed gratitude to the United States and the American president.

“Thank the United States and President Trump for the confidence and invitation to be the founding state of the Peace Board. God bless Kosovo and the United States!”
