Idriz Alija is sentenced to a unique 11-year prison sentence for attempted murder of the woman with whom she was living

The Constitutional Court in Pristina has declared a condemnation of accused Idriz Alija over the charge of attempted serious murder in an attempt against the woman with whom the United States co-existed. He was convicted and sentenced to a unique 11-year prison sentence.

The indictment was proclaimed Tuesday by the chairman of the court, Media Bytyqi, and members Guzim Ademi and Allen Murseli.

According to the ruling, for attempted serious murder, Alija was sentenced to 10 years in prison for “Artiscu without permission” was sentenced to 1 year in prison, while for “contempt of the court” was sentenced to 6 months in prison. To him, the Court pronounced a unique sentence of 11 years in prison.

In prison sentences, the accused is counted as having spent time in custody. It is obliged to pay the expenses of the judicial procedure and the one for the 150-euro and another 50-euro judicial patrol for the Crime Victims Compensation Fund.

On the first device of the indictment, it is said that on August 6, 2024, around 7:33 minutes, defendant Idriz Alija on the path of “Peja”, near the traffic lights in the village of Fush-Kosovo, due to preliminary disputes and reporting two other cases of domestic violence, with the aim of trying to deprive the family member of life of his life, damaged the United States, with which he was living. With this, defendant Alija was charged with committing criminal work “the attempted heavy murder by Article 173, paragraph 1, 1.3 points and 1.5 concerning Article 28, of the Penal Code.

Always according to the indictment, in its second device, with date, time and place described as in the first device, the defendant has kept in ownership, control or possession unauthorised in violation of the applicable weapons law a type “Cervena Zastava” M-57, which has been shot at the body of the injured several times, 3 of the shell whose weapons were found at the scene and a missile, while the gun has been taken by a man who leaves the scene, and police after the investigation later found the gun and identified the person from whom the firearm is seized. Also, criminal procedure was initiated against this person.

With this, defendant Idriz Alija was accused of committing criminal work “keeping in property, control or unauthorized possession of weapons”, from Article 366, paragraph 1 of the Penal Code.

In the third device of the indictment, defendant Alija is charged with failing to comply with the Constitutional Court's decision in Pristina, the Fush-Kosovo branch, the General Department, the Penal Division, through which he was banned from his current detention, 20m in public places and 100m from their current location.

For this move, defendant Alija was accused of committing criminal work “contempt of court” by Article 393, paragraph 1 of the Penal Code. /Periscopi
