Trump: Iran has requested agreements with the United States, I don't know if they're worthy of it

Speaking to reporters aboard presidential plane Air Force One, following return from summit NATO in Ankara, Trump said Tehran had contacted him a little earlier, reports BBC.

I was called a while ago. They very much want to reach a” deal, the American president said.

His statements came just a day after he said the ceasefire was “concluded” and that negotiations with Iran were “time loss”.

However, Iranian authorities have not publicly confirmed Trump's claims.

The American president also stopped at military operations against Iran, claiming that the US has caused him severe blows.

We hit them too hard. Militaryly, we have already won and they have very little” left, he said.

Although he reiterated that Iran wants an agreement, Trump expressed doubts about Tehran's credibility.

I don't know if they're worthy of making a deal. I don't know if they're gonna respect that”, the American president declared.
