Russia condemns NATO summit decisions for Ukraine: Catastrophic Effects

Russia has condemned decisions taken at the NATO summit in Turkey, warning that they could have catastrophic consequences for international security.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the Alliance is continuing to militarize Europe, is preparing for an armed conflict with Russia and is boosting military support for Ukraine.
At the summit, NATO member states pledged 70 billion euros in military assistance to Ukraine during 2026, reconfirmed the alliance's collective protection commitment to Article 5 and announced arms deals worth over $50 billion.
Zakharova also said that disputes between the United States and its allies continue within NATO, reports ReutersPeriscope broadcast.
