EU Office in Kosovo: Russia is breaking promises, partnership with it becoming strategic burden

The European Union office in Kosovo estimates that Russia has long tried to present itself as a reliable partner and source of stability across the West, but without relying on practice.
“Russia has long tried to present itself as a reliable partner and as a source of stability across the West. But as pressure mounts, the difference between its promises and its actions is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore”, says an EU Office's Facebook post in Kosovo.
According to her, the question for many governments now arises whether partnership with Russia remains a strategic and sustainable choice for the future.
For many governments, today the question is whether partnership with Russia remains a strategic and sustainable choice for the future. A relationship built on instability, violated pledges and declining impact is looking less and less like a strategic asset and increasingly as a strategic burden”, the post says.
