Kosovo Parliament Speaker Albulen Haxhiu has said the coming week will be crucial in terms of resolving the country's presidential issue.
She has said she hopes that during this period it will begin meetings between political parties to reach a consensus on the issue.
The applicant of the president's office has invited political subjects to respond positively to the country's prime minister, Albin Kurti.
There aren't many days left, but if there's a will, it can be done within hours. So I invite them today that we have the week before us to use in meetings and I wish they were closed with a consensus on the president. But, what parties must act, it must respond to Kurti's invitations.”, she declared on Sunday.
Haxhiu has said it is very important that the country does not go to extraordinary elections.
We need to take citizen interest into account and citizens don't want elections at this moment, because they voted in December. No one should aim at taking the country to elections by their actions”, Haxhiu has said.
