In his reaction, Geci has acknowledged that the mode of communication has not been at the level he represents, expressing regret at lowering the standard of parliamentary debate.

His full response:

SQARIM

I want to express my sincere regret for the way I have expressed myself to an MP in the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo.

The expressions used do not reflect the level of communication I represent and believe! I regret that I failed to maintain discretion, and I lowered my level of communication on hers, influenced by the provocations and insults I received. Also, I want to be very clear in my steadfast attitude towards the Kosovo Liberation Army. I have deep respect and gratitude for The NLA, its contribution is incomparable and eternal.

With respect and honor I remember all who have fallen, but they remain alive in my memory and heart.

However, this does not mean that I can support certain individuals who, under certain circumstances, have been involved in actions that have directly affected and endangered my family. Those who have little knowledge of the 59th Communications understand my attitudes. I can't forget the fear and uncertainty of getting out of the house and of returning safely, finding my parents and my large family alive. These experiences are profound and make me, beyond the general respect for the clean fight of the KLA and high values, have reserved attitudes toward individuals. These experiences shape my attitudes. I Yours, Fatos Geci.
