Tomorrow, starting at 11:00, the next meeting between Prime Minister Albin Kurti and LDK Chairman Lumir Abdjiku will be held in the spaces of the Kosovo Assembly, on the issue of electing the country's president.
This is the second meeting within a short period between VV head and Abdixhik, while The PDK is awaiting an official letter for the meeting.
Klankosova has confirmed this for the PDK secretary Vlora Citaku.
She said the party has not received an official invitation from the prime minister for the meeting.
“We wanted him to send an official letter and not invite us through whatsapp channels. Besides the names, we've asked to first of all meet for principles”, the MP said.
After the chairmanship meeting, which took place this week, Citaku stressed that the election of the country's president is a very important moment for parliamentary democracy.
Kosovo's “Parliament has 120 deputies, while The PDK has only 22 deputies. If the parliamentary majority is interested in electing the president, there is not only the option for co-operation with the PDK, but there are other options”, the Parliament's deputy chairman said.
On the other hand, Kosovo has entered the last ten days for electing the president, while April 28th is the deadline set by the Constitutional Court.
