In a public statement, Netanyah said the tumor had been discovered during routine checks following a prostatic expansion operation at the end of 2024. According to him, it was a very small tumor without spread.

He stressed that he had decided to postpone publishing this diagnosis because of the tense situation with Iran, not wanting the news to be used for propaganda during the conflict.

When a danger comes to me, I act immediately in both personal and state life,” he declared.

According to Netanyah, treatment has been successful and it is currently “in excellent health state”, without any trace of the disease.
