Bastisje in Skenderaj, police seized weapons and ammunition

Kosovo police have conducted a raid on Skenderaj, where weapons and a considerable amount of ammunition have been seized.

According to the announcement, investigative actions have been undertaken after a tip was accepted that a person had published on social networking images exposing a weapon. Police investigators have managed to identify and locate the suspect.

On April 14, 2026, based on the allegations raised, the raid has been conducted on his home in the Scytheright area. During the search, police have located and seized five weapons, including three short weapons (pistols) and two long weapons, as well as 734 bullets of different calibres.

The suspect has been interviewed in connection with criminal acts of unauthorized possession of weapons and possession of weapons with expired authorization.

In consultation with the prosecutor, the case is being handled in regular procedure, while criminal cases for the work “have been initiated in the possession, control or unauthorized possession of weapons. ”
