Hamza after meeting with Austria's ambassador: Kosovo needs stable institutions

Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Bedri Hamza hosted Austria's Ambassador to Kosovo, Georg Schnetzer, with whom he discussed political developments in the country and the process of constitutionalising institutions.
Hamza stressed that Kosovo has spent a long period of political instability and that the country needs functional, stable and effective institutions.
We expect the certificate of election results to be completed in the coming days. The PDK remains committed to democracy, the functioning of institutions and the protection of state interest”, Hamza said.
During the meeting, he expressed concern for developments in the country, praising that Kosovo has marked setbacks in important areas such as economy, Euro-Atlantic integration, rule of law, the fight against corruption and freedom of expression.
“The PDK remains committed to strengthening democratic institutions and advancing Kosovo's strategic priorities, in the interest of citizens and the country's Euro-Atlantic future”, he said.
