The AAK chairman Ramush Haradinaj, who congratulated Fetay, has announced this and praised Ardian Djindin for his duties.
Djindin intends to take over the AAK leadership after its founder Ramush Haradinaj had indicated he would no longer compete at the party's helm.
“Gykova of knowledge, culture and fertility, for many mandates he entrusted to the Alliance leadership with the municipality. Under the direction of President Ardian Gjini, one of the most esteemed in local government, Gjakova has gained the dignity of a city that develops with work, commitment, and concrete results. Numerous investments, transformation projects and access to each citizen have turned this city into a model of local governance and sustainable development. This powerful support and determination to continue the developmental path were confirmed today, at the X Branch Electoral Assembly, where the new governing structures” were selected.
I commend the choice as head of the branch, Flamur Fetahin, currently deputy mayor of the municipality, a framework that stands out for his commitment and service to the citizens of Gjakova. Gratitude to the current branch chairman, Ardian Gjini, and the structures that over the years have made a valuable contribution to the Alliance being the first political force in Gjakova. Newly elected Mayor Flamur Fetahaj, as well as all new structures selected by this Assembly, I wish you prosperity and success in fulfilling the duties and responsibilities undertaken”, Haradinaj said.
