In an interview for the public broadcaster NRK, Mattte-Marie said he was manipulated and deceived by Epstein, adding that he would like never to meet him.
Her relationship with Epstein constitutes one of the biggest scandals that has plagued Norway's royal family. The publication by the Department of Justice of millions of Epstein documents has caused global shock by discovering the copyright of sex crimes with prominent persons, including the crown princess, senior Norwegian politicians, business executives and diplomats.
The files have shown that there has been frequent communication between Mette-Marie and Epstein long after his guilty statement in 2008 on child abuse.
The 52-year-old princess is not charged with any criminal offense.
