State media: Iran rockets US bases in Middle East

International media announce that a powerful explosion was heard near the American Consulate in the northern Iraqi town of Erbil, while air defence systems took part in a suicide threat targeting the area.
Air defence activated and pilot-free air carrier (UAV) neutralised near the consulate, triggering a powerful explosion.
Local media also reported that air defence systems were activated simultaneously in the Soran area, where two other fears were destroyed.
Blasts and air defence activities have been reported in Erbil almost every day since Iran launched revenge attacks after the American and Israeli attacks.
Iran has retaliated with fears and rockets targeting American military assets throughout the region, as well as several Israeli cities.
On Monday, the remains of one of the three drones knocked over Erbil fell near the United Arab Emirates Consulate. The United Arab Emirates Foreign Ministry condemned the incident, saying it strongly condemned the consulate's aim.
According to official figures, the Kurdish Regional Government has faced 210 fears attacks, including 177 targeting Erbeli, since the beginning of the escalation of the situation.
Regional escalation has intensified since Israel and the US launched a joint attack against Iran on 28 February, killing more than 1,200 people and injuring more than 10,000. /Periscope
