Rama for the Serbian minister's statement: Kosovo institutions react clearly, reaction is not political elections, but state responsibility

Pristina Chairman Progress Rama says the Serbian government minister's statement that, if it were in Slobodan Milosevic's country, it would have “ethnically cleansed Kosovo” is the open articulation of an ideology that promotes and supports wars, genocide and crimes against humanity.
Rama emphasises that “this is an insult to the citizens of Kosovo and is the relativity and legitimacy of one of the most serious crimes known as international law”.
It is alarming that, more than two decades after the war, a member of Serbia's government cabinet speaks with this language, for one of the most secular and criminal acts of the last century”, Rama estimates.
“Europe is built on rejection of ethnic cleansing ideology. Therefore, any silence in the face of such a declaration is a dangerous precedent. The European Union and the entire democratic world must condemn this rhetoric without equivocality! ”, he says.
As Rama says, “is so important that the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo react with clarity, dignity and determination!”
“Institutions are to defend historical truth, memory of the victims and position of our state in the international arena. In the face of a statement justifying ethnic cleansing, institutional reaction is not political elections is state responsibility.
Kosovo unfortunately recognises the price of this language. He paid for it with lives and hundreds of thousands of citizens expelled from their homes. For this very reason, no one should handle this statement as a passing incident. It must be severely punished, obviously, and the ass must not go into silence”, Rama has indicated.
