Ambassador Guerot message to parties: Find your own compromise and exit the impasse

This Tuesday, the French Embassy in Kosovo hosted the French National Festival. In his address, French Ambassador to Kosovo Olivier Guerot said they hope they have flares to celebrate France's national victory over Spain in football, while also ordering political parties to create institutions as quickly as possible, reports Kosova Prees.
We all hope more fireworks tonight: a match with many goals in the World Cup semifinals. I hope the goals are French. Starting at 9:00, the match will be broadcast on the screens inside and outside the hall and I invite you to stay and follow it together. As I was preparing this short talk, I sought my last year's talk to find inspiration. There I met a paragraph that, unfortunately, I feel compelled to repeat: It is a respectful message to Kosovo political leaders. To sign agreements with you and implement them, we need functional institutions. Kosovo's friendly governments, including the French government on which I'm speaking, need partners they can move forward with and accompany Kosovo on its path towards European integration. So let me give a call to all the political leaders of this country, without exception, regardless of the party they belong to or to the community they represent. A call to find their own way to compromise to find their own way out of the stalemate, which no citizen is happy with. A call to find ways for a comprehensive functioning of Kosovo institutions. That was my message last year. After a year and two sets of choices, this message remains current”He said Guerot.
France's ambassador warned a visit by a French government member to Pristina, saying this event would mark the beginning of an important process of economic development.
Your Honored Prime Minister, you have been hosted at the Élysée Palace and we are working with your teams to visit a member of the French government in Pristina, in the near future. I am convinced that this visit will mark the beginning of a process in which France will play an important role in Kosovo's economic development.
France in Kosovo is, like anywhere in the world, a committed, determined, reliable and solid partner.
France carries to Kosovo the same values and beliefs it protects in Europe and elsewhere in this harsh world. We are proud of our devotion to international law, international justice and multilatheralism”, he said.
While incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti said France has shaped the world, not only through politics, but also through literature, philosophy, science, art and diplomacy.
