KFOR at Bondsteel presented equipment for detection and neutralisation of drones

KFOR members from the Regional East Command organised at Camp Bondsteel a demonstration of capabilities for combating nonpilot air systems (CUAS), for top military officials of this command. As KFOR has become known, equipment and capabilities used to detect and react to air vehicles without [...] were introduced during the event.
As KFOR has become known, equipment and capabilities used for detection and response to nonpilot air vehicles were also introduced during the event, while the aim of the event was also to strengthen interoperability among the multinational forces participating in the mission.
They added that KFOR members continue to monitor the security situation and contribute to stability throughout the region.
“This activity also reflects KFOR's continued commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo”, said the mission NATO in Kosovo.
Once again, they stressed that KFOR continues to work in close co-ordination with Kosovo Police and EULEX.
“To contribute to a safe environment for all people living in Kosovo and to freedom of movement at any time and impartially, KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission for Rule of Law (EULEX) in their respective roles as security forces”, KFOR says.
